People have told me time and time again that once they 'retired', they were busier than ever. I humbly regret ever doubting them, having spent the last few months in the studio - organizing, creating, planning, developing two new websites. A simple glance at the clock causes disbelief...it CAN'T be THAT late, already!
I'm proud to announce Zack's new website, and a list of three galleries to date showing his paintings. Locally, works are available at Laffer Gallery in Schuyerville, NY, and at Spa Fine Art in downtown Saratoga Springs. Zack's website is www.garyzack.com.
At the end of 2014, I had a diminished stock of my jewelry (thank you, all), and in order to create an online presence for my work, I spent the better part of January making beads and creating jewelry. In February, during an annual trek to the Gem and Mineral Show in Tucson AZ, I took a workshop to learn the ins-and-outs of good jewelry photography and editing. You can see the fruits of that labor on www.diannezack.com, and while a nice selection of work is represented, there is more to come, once I get away from the computer!
ONLINE BUYING IS LIVE!
Earlier today, I flipped the switch to go live for online buying on SYMMETRYGALLERY.COM (picture a person doing the happy dance). Right now, I have Scott Bisson's, glass sea creatures, Stephen Schlanser's Equestrian glass bowls and vases and Grace Gunning's Reliquary Boxes with Saratoga images, both listed in the Saratoga Collection. Select pieces of my jewelry are also available for online purchase.
Stay tuned, as a number of our favorite gallery artists are currently working with us to add their work. Honestly, the most difficult hurdles have to do with shipping, but those of you who've worked with us in the past know that we, and our artists, do it right! And if there are favorites that aren't yet listed, please contact us, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Wedding season is approaching, after all...
I hope our endeavors will keep Symmetry in the loop, stay in touch and let us know what you think!
