Local artist Deborah Friedson has self-published a book, "The Woman with the Elephant Heart", based on a body of her original artowrk and inspired by her life experiences. It is a warm companion that offers inspiration for self-healing, reflection and an invitation to pause and feel. Nearly every reader can respond and relate deeply to the themes Deborah explores, in both her paintings and her book.
Symmetry is proud to be the primary gallery representing Deborah's work. We offer original paintings, prints and artist/author signed books.

T.H. Hyndman creates a wild kingdom of works using mixed media and humor. 'It's A Trout Time', shown here, is an example of his vividly colored, one-of-a-kind wall clocks. We also offer his series of large and small wire sculptures depicting figures and creatures.
Limited pieces of Tommy's work are available at this time, while he and his family are living on Faire Isle, Scotland.

Joanne Williams strives in each piece to create a contemplative space inspiring viewer participation and meditation. Her “canvases” are wood panels, upon which she blends acrylic paints, Venetian plaster, gold leaf, metallic powders, mica, iron oxides and inks. In keeping with Saratoga Springs' historic ties, we offer works that suggest equestrian imagery.

Francelise Dawkins is a Parisian “textile collagist” who has been living in the U.S. for 22 years. She first studied Fiber Arts at the Art League School of Indianapolis before moving to NY, where she developed her meditative concept for interior designs in textile collages. |
Sandra Miller, Mixed Media: “Many of my acrylic mixed media paintings on paper are a response to life and the environment, while others reflect my vision of heaven. An atmospheric aura, with an ancient quality, is created through layers of polymer medium, mixed with sawdust or sand. Other materials which are frequently worked into a piece include pastels, graphite, dry pigment, and occasionally collage.” |
