Functional or otherwise, the bowl and platter forms lend themselves to dramatic and impressive pieces, sure to become a focal point in any environment.
The pieces of Josh Simpson's New Mexico series were inspired by the clear dusk New Mexico skies. Platters, bowls and vase forms are made with cobalt glass and an application of chemical compounds, giving the surface a glowing, nebulous quality.
Ed Branson creates graceful, flowing works with rich, pure transparent colors. His Arbor Bowls are impressive in scale and graceful of line.
Steve Schlanser's Equus Bowl pays homage to the beauty of the horse. We offer this elegant piece to honor our area's rich equestrian history.
